Social networking is the classification of individuals into specific groups based on their interests, hobbies etc. It is possible in person, especially at your workplace, university, or high school but nowadays with the increased use of Internet, social networking through websites like Twitter, Facebook, Orkut and so on has become popular. These websites function like an online community of users who share common interests in hobbies, games, politics, and so on.
