Delicious is not shutting down

The photo sharing website Delicious will not shutting down, but it will be moving away from its current owners Yahoo.

Yahoo have decided that Delicious no longer fits into their business model and both companies are now exploring options for its future.

There had been concerns amongst the Delicious that the website would be completely shut down, but Delicious annonced on theor website that there was "no reason to panic" and that the website would continue to run in the future.

Yahoo is also clsoing several other of its website offerings. Yahoo Buzz, MyBlogLog and AltaVista are all being shut down.
