Automated skype calls that inform users of inactive computer protection are infact fake.
The last tactic used by cyber criminals is the spreading of fake anti-virus through automated Skype calls. The automated call informs users that their computer security is not up to date and that they need to visit a particular website to update their security protection.
The website is fake and there is no need to purchase the recommended software.
To protect yourself against such tactics it is recommended that you change your privacy settings so that only users in your contact list can contact you directly.
