Malware levels have hit a new high in the first half of 2010 according to internet security firm McAfee. They claim that over 10 million forms of malware have been recorded this year.
McAfee claim the rise is caused by the growing number of technology devices that people use, as well as the growth of social networking websites. The most widespread form of malware recorded are Trojans which steal user passwords.
