Skype 5 launches with new video and social networking capabilities

The latest version of Skype was launched today with new video conferencing features that allows upto 10 people to participate. It is also integrates into social networking website Facebook.

Skype 5 allows users to sync between their client and Facebook account, so that you can call anyone from your friends list. You can also view your news feed and update your status.

The new version is currently available for Windows operating systems. The Apple Mac version is due to be released in the next few months.
