Officially launched last night by CEO Steve Jobs, the Apple iPad 2 hits the stores on March 11th.
The new iPad is faster, thinner, lighter than the original iPad. It features a new 1GHz dual core processor Apple 5, which should prove faster than the single core processor in the first release. Its frame is 33% thinner and its total weight is 15% lighter than its predecessor.
It now has a front and back cameras for video conferencing. The battery life is around 10 hours, which is the same as the original.
The Apple iPad 2 will be launched in the US on the 11th March. It will then be launched globally on the 26th March.
