22 July 2010 | Category: Software
One photo shows BP workers looking at television screens of the underwater leakage. In the manipulated image all the television screens are active, however in the un-manipulated image there are three inactive screens.
After admitting that the image had been doctored BP replaced the manipulated image with the original one. It also posted all images on photo sharing website Flickr.
It's another blow to BP who have seen their popularity dive after the recent oil leak. A BP spokesman said that the contract photographer was simply "showing off his photoshop skills". It's a response which has been met with much skepticism.
