Uniblue RegistryCleanerKit Review
This product has been dis-continued by Uniblue systems.
Technology should make our lives easier
• Effective repairs
• Great safety features
• Easy to use
• Poor help and support
• Average scan detection
Overall Uniblue RegistryCleanerKit is a good option for anyone looking to increase their PC performance. It has plenty of features, is easy to use, and will definitely help your PC. The only downfall of the program is that it found less errors than it's competitors, but it definitely finds and fixes the big ones.
Uniblue is a Microsoft Partner software company that makes a variety of programs for PC's. We decided to take a look at their RegistryCleanerKit to see how it stacks up with the competition.
The program has a typical, simple setup. After purchasing the product for $29.95, you just need to download the setup file from the product website and launch it. You will then be taken through a simple installation process. After the installation is complete, it will run an initial scan of your registry.
The scans are very swift. It took only a little over a minute to complete a scan and be ready for the cleaning process. The program itself isn't too heavy on system resources. As long as you have a computer made in the last five to six years, you shouldn't notice a dip in PC performance. You can customize your scan to only scan certain registry sections if it's your desire to do so.
The program didn't find as many errors in the registry as other similar programs. However, many of those not-found errors seem to be minor and may not even be worth fixing. It finds all of the important errors and fixes them with ease. It definitely helps your computer run more smoothly.
You won't have to worry about possibly damaging your PC with Uniblue RegistryCleanerKit. It automatically creates a backup of the registry when changes are made, so you can always revert back to a previous state if an error occurs. All it takes is going to the Restore tab, where it has a list of your backups. You can also easily delete old backups to get rid of clutter.
Uniblue Registry booster definitely has enough features to keep you happy. It has plenty of the normal, but will also surprise you with a couple features.
Scheduler – You can have the program automatically scan at specific times, so you don't have to do it manually on your own. Also, the program will start a registry scan when your computer is first turned on by default.
Defragmentation – The defragmentation tool is a welcome feature to this program. The tool organizes data in a better to help improve the performance of your system. The feature won't always give your PC a huge boost, so it's something you will use once and then leave alone for a while.
Ease of use
Uniblue Registry is a program that both novice and advanced users alike will have no problem using. It's very organized and has a detailed explanation for every button you can possibly press. It also has some advanced features that experienced users will enjoy having.
The moment you open the program, you're welcomed to a big button that says “Start Scan”. It doesn't get much simpler than that. You perform the scan, execute the maintenance, and let the program do the rest.
Help & support
The help and support is decent at best. There is a help manual that you can download from their website, but if you're having problems that you cannot fix, you will have to submit a support ticket. It's a shame there is not a live chat or phone service like other similar programs.
Uniblue RegistryCleanerKit is a good registry cleaner program. It has solid features, fast scans, fast repairs, and is extremely easy to use. It might not find as many errors in your registry as some other programs, but it's worth noting that some of the errors found by other programs are often meaningless or not worth the trouble. If you decide to purchase Uniblue's RegistryCleanerKit, you won't be disappointed.
